iMed Transport is an automated, cloud based SaaS (software as a service) designed to simplify the medical transportation process. iMed Transport is conveniently accessed by mobile device or computer. Users now have the ability to easily request transportation services and submit documentation using a simple form which is electronically transmitted, using a secure connection to preferred vendors. The software provides notifications and live tracking to all parties involved from beginning to end.
Only authorized users on the account may request transportation. The primary use of this program is for Inter-Facility Transportation.
By using iMed Transport there is no need to call transportation carriers to set up an Inter-Facility Transfer (IFT), the requesting provider simply fills out the request form, submits it and is notified upon its acceptance. There is no need to call and follow up on the transfer because the status can be seen directly on iMed.
This is a cloud based SaaS which can be accessing through an internet connection on any type of device (i.e. phone, tablet) or computer and requires no special hardware.
During your initial set up with iMed you will provide us with your list of preferred transportation companies which will be loaded into your portal. These companies will receive the alert when a request is made and will have the opportunity to accept the request.

Pre-scheduled transport requests can be made up to 24 hours in advance or you can put in an immediate request.
